Karens
Story
I was an
only child so had q quiet upbringing.
Then I married at twenty-one and was
lucky enough to have three children.
Then I got divorced, and then met my
present husband who hadn't got any
children as he was a toy boy. So I had
two more children. I love my family and
they are my life. But I have always
wanted more, out of life. I haven't
found anything I am good at and even now
I am older I am still looking for
something. I work part time as these
days money is tight as everything costs
so much. I would love to help my older
children get on the property ladder
but they can't and on their wages its
hard so they live at home. Only my
eldest daughter has her own home and two
little boys of her own, which makes me a
grandmother as well. Having two younger
children and working everything is
juggled. I thought life was supposed
to begin at forty but I think it's got
harder.
As well as
the children we have our parents to look
after. I have only my mother left and I
would like to spend more time with her,
but there is only one of me and I fell I
haven't enough energy to go round. Do
you feel the same or have you come up
with a answer I would love to here about
it.
